In the sea breeze alone one day
I sat outside watching the seagull glide its way
Upon the river of his wishing to the channels in the sky
He was alone showing me the way to fly
I was alone

I fell asleep in the sand
Hypnotized by the ocean on the land
And I dreamt the raging thunder as the ocean rose again
They all forgot sailors, skippers, lonely men
They are alone

Like the seagull today
They are sailing away
From their home
