September 1980

Dear Friends:

Can you believe that the fall months are upon us already? Hope that you had a great summer. To those of you who have written, thanks for your letters. I really enjoy hearing what is happening in your lives and to be able to share with you what is going on in mine.

Catherine and I just recently came back from a three week vacation and I've got to tell you, it was much needed. It was an inspiring time for me. While we were away I wrote nine songs that will, hopefully, be on my next album. Which brings me to another point.

I have a request to make. Would any of you who feel led to do so please remember me in your prayers? This is a crucial point in my career in that I am waiting on the Lord to see which way He wants me to go with my next album. In the Bible, Matthew 18:19, it says, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Please pray that I will be given strength and wisdom concerning this next album, that I will go through the door that will reach the most people with His message. I thank you so much.

By the way, the "All Things Are Possible" album is still going strong and, in fact, there is talk of another single to be released from it, possibly "You're My Savior". Praise the Lord!

In closing, I'd just like to say thanks again for your letters, for your encouragement, your suggestions, your support, your prayers, and so on. To some degree I believe that artists have temperaments or personalities that need constant reinforcement, and you folks really help keep me going. God Bless all of you!

In His Service,

DAN PEEK
