Note: Special thanks go Michelle Adensam of Racine, Wisconsin
for making the photos available. This is what Michelle had to say
about the concert and the photos.
The pictures above are from the show in Harris, MI on Saturday
night. We ended up going to both shows and were in the first row for
both of them. Most of the pictures are from the first show, but I did
include some from the second show as well. I'm not sure which ones are
from the second show, however, they are in chronological order.
I'm the one who made the vest with all the pins of all the albums. I
wore it to both shows, and the guys recognized me from previous shows.
During "Tin Man" we put a small plastic figure of the Tin Man on the
stage. We left it on the stage for the rest of the show and I think
Gerry & Dewey saw it.
My friends and I met a security guard that let us down the backstage
hallway to get autographs from Gerry & Dewey after the first show. Very
cool! I had pictures with me that I took at the show in Oshkosh, WI
last August. I made two copies of the pictures and told both Gerry &
Dewey that they could keep them. Then I also told them that they could
keep the Tin Man that we put on the stage. During the second show,
Dewey picked it up at the end of the song and mouthed "thank you" to
me. That was very cool as well.
During the first show, after Gerry sang "From a Movin' Train", he was
having a hard time coming up with the title of the album, Human Nature.
We yelled it out to him and he said, "All 9 of our fans are here."
During the second show, after Dewey finished "Hangover" he said that he
forgot which album it was from. I yelled out, "Alibi" and he said that
they didn't have an Alibi for that one. (Did he really forget, or was he
testing me.)
We were also able to acquire one of the posters from the Casino
promoting the concert. We ran into Gerry after the show and he signed
it for me. We also had the pleasure of talking to Willie and also
meeting Richard. They are all very nice and great guys. We appreciated
their time.
My husband and I camped at the Casino's RV park on Saturday night.
Prior to us leaving, I made some window clings that were patriotic and
most of them said "America". The last picture is of our RV windows and
the clings.
