Guess the Halloween Songs
Our friend, Tim Lawson, got bored one Saturday about this time last year and spent the day creating a Halloween music collage. It is snippets of pop songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's (with a few TV theme songs). The songs all have a Halloweenish "things that go bump in the night," mystic, magical, ghoulish, neurotic kind of themes (yes, there is an America song).
There are 39 brief song segments in the RealAudio file below that runs 4 minutes 18 seconds. There are 4 TV theme songs, 3 well known album tracks and the rest are all Top 40 hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's (OK 2 are from the late 50's).
This should be a fun Halloween contest, trying to guess the songs and the artists (there's no need to guess the artists of the TV theme show snippets). If you give up you can scroll to the bottom of this page to see the answers.
