Joyce Hall

Meet Joyce Hall from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I think after seeing America 35 times (they're playing Horse with no name on the radio right now -- must be a sign, LOL) I should have a bio. I've met Jim Nakao and numerous other America fans through the years.

Let me tell you about the first time I remember hearing AMERICA. It was in 1975 I was 9 years old and the song was "SISTER GOLDEN HAIR". I loved that song and my mom bought me the album! I had an incredible crush on Gerry! :):) What a thrill it was to meet them all these years later and what a greater thrill it was to meet Gerry and Dewey after the show (you know, when they come out after the show and sign autographs!!!!). What nice guys they were and I could not belive that Gerry was even better looking than he was back in 1975! :):) He ages like fine wine!!!!! -:):) Now I'm embarrased!!!!

I also need to mention that as a young child I had won off the radio the entire AMERICA catalog (from the first album up to The Greatest hits)! I am happy to say I have never opened them at all! They're all still sealed and I have them put away in a fireproof safe along with my Fleetwood Mac "Rumors Tour" in mint condition. I also have the tour book and irreplaceble photo's! Oh yes, of course, my Partridge Family and Osmond's lunchboxes! I'm very sensitive when it comes to items from my chilhood!!!! Someone at a record collectors show offered me $200.00 for the Fleetwood Mac tour book and I said NO. It means a lot more to me than $200.00! Do you know what I'm saying???

TAKE CARE EVERYONE AND BE SAFE! LUV AND PEACE!

Update: 28 March 1998

I am currently working as a band photographer and enjoying every minute of it. Take a look at some photos that I took from the Wisconsin Summerfest-94.

I love people and music a lot. My feelings about people are that no matter what race you're from or how much money you make or what you do for a living does not matter because I believe we all come from the same Maker, God! Therefore, we shall all be treated equally! My love of music from Merle Haggard to The Mama's and the Papa's to Puff Daddy are ever so passionate. Music is my life.

My motto is: I love life and try to live it to the fullest! I believe in trying everything just once. God bless us all and please by kind to everyone you meet! Oh what a wonderful world it would be!

Thank you Lord for thinking about me
I'm alive and doing fine! Whoa
