Meet Juan Cobo from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

Dear friends, the photo above of me and America was taken on June 14, 1999 following the performance at the Sala Arena in Madrid. The photo was taken in the lounge of the Hotel Square in Madrid.

I have been a follower of America for 30 years and I'm currently 45 years old. The themes of their songs have been very important to me and have meant a lot during my life. I have collaborated musically with several groups in Tenerife, Canary Isles, which is where I reside. Each one of them have songs or attributes similar to those of America.

The songs of America were always present during significant moments of my life. I really consider them to be a historical band, with topics very "easy" on the ears, very harmonic, both in the sweetness of the arrangements of the instruments, and in the harmonies of the voices.
