Meet David Moretti from Middleton, Connecticut.

It was Riverside back in "72" (14 at the time) that got me to turn my guitar playing from electric to acoustic. I heard it used as a promo on a radio station (just the instrumental part) and it gave me this feeling of... so hard to describe. I searched it out and found it to be America. Since then, my taste in music has gone from not who the artist is but how the music moves me. I have a wide musical range.

My wife and I saw the boys at Mohegan Sun in Ct this past Sunday!!! Best concert of my life! The show was excellent to say the least. They had a fill in guitar player on board that night (from CT). After the show he came out to greet local friends so I took that opportunity to ask if he would have Dewey and Gerry sign my "for promotion only" 45 of Riverside. He willingly agreed! While waiting by the backstage door a few of his friend headed down to see them so I decided to be bold and take my wife down as well. Lo & behold we are in the company of America! Dewey and Gerry were so gracious and spent time talking to us and taking pictures with us. They are down to earth guys. Dewey and I had a conversation regarding the promo record I had. Apparently he's never seen that copy.

Anyway words can't describe the feeling of being there! Here's a picture of my wife with Gerry and Dewey after the concert.
