Rebecca Brunetta

Meet Rebecca Brunetta from Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

I have been a fan of America's since the late 1970's when a college friend introduced me to their music - I was hooked. I've seen them several times in concert but, unfortunately, not recently.

I also owe a lot to America, personally. You see, I met my husband of 15 years over pictures he took of an America concert here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was at an England Dan & John Ford Coley concert back in 1978 with a friend. I was looking around the theater when I spotted this guy looking at great pictures of America in concert (back when you were allowed to take pictures at concerts). Since America was my absolute favorite group, I was going crazy wanting to see these pictures when my friend got tired of listening to me and literally pushed me over to meet him. Well, after looking at the pictures I just had to have copies, so we exchanged names and addresses. We corresponded back and forth over the next few years. Whenever America was in town, I'd write him and ask for pictures of the concert and he would send them. We finally went out on a first date in 1982 (after meeting 3 1/2 years previously) and were married in 1984.

So, thank you America. Without you, I never would have met my wonderful husband. The next best thing to this would be meeting all of you!!! I'll be there the next time you're in Pittsburgh!!!!
