Dennis Waggoner

Meet Dennis Waggoner from Scottsdale, Arizona.

I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and hoped to see them a couple of years ago when they were to play in Chandler. However, it was in the middle of the monsoon season, and since it was an outdoor show, it was rained-out. So much for desert living.

Their first album got me interested in playing the guitar. Having been a classically-trained trumpet player, I was able to really appreciate the harmonies and unusual chords used in their music.

My 14 year-old daughter, also a trumpet player, is probably the only one in her school who knows the words to America songs, having heard me play them so much over the years. She has now expressed an interest in the guitar and I look forward to jamming with her on America tunes.

I, myself, am a pharmacist with an MBA, and locked into a 8-5 job. But, I have a 45 minute commute to work, which gives me ample time to listen to my favorite group. I have a few guitar-playing friends that I jam with occasionally, but not as often as I'd like. Also enjoy all outdoor sports, computers, and life in general.
